CEI Helps WOSU Launch Fully Functional
HD Facility at Interactive Science Center

Newington, VA – December 20, 2006 – CEI has completed almost one year’s worth of comprehensive design, integration and installation work with the launch of Ohio public broadcaster WOSU’s dynamic new HD production facility in Columbus, CEI announced today.

The recently completed project was particularly unique and challenging because the center will be used not only as a cutting-edge production facility, but also as the focal point for a variety of public activities. The new media center is located at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) as the result of a special partnership between WOSU and COSI, one of the nation’s leading, innovative, hands-on science centers. COSI provides Ohio families, students, and teachers with engaging experiences that strengthen their interest and comprehension of science.

CEI Completes Control Room
And Studio System for PhRMA

Newington, VA – Nov. 7, 2006 – Communications Engineering, Inc. (CEI) today announced the completion of a sophisticated control room and studio system for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) head-quarters in Washington, DC.

CEI worked with PhRMA, which represents the nation’s leading pharmaceutical research and biotechnology companies, to develop a design that can accommodate the tight space and preservation guidelines of PhRMA’s historic facility. A new studio, control room, edit suites and field production units were creatively built into small areas totaling less than 800 square feet.

CEI Boosts Service and Support Expertise by Naming Griffin Manager

Newington, VA – Oct. 19, 2006 – Communications Engineering, Inc. (CEI) today announced the company is further enhancing its comprehensive service capabilities by naming industry veteran Buddy Griffin broadcast service engineer and service manager.

Griffin brings more than 30 years of service experience to CEI. He will be responsible for all service activities, including supervision of CEI’s skilled lab technicians. Griffin comes to the company from Professional Products, where he worked for 20 years, most recently as service manager and service engineer.  He has also received extensive training on a wide range of leading broadcast manufacturers’ equipment.

Newington, VA – 15th June 2006 – CEI, the award-winning US-based Broadcast Systems Integration company, has announced several new engineering promotions in response to a surge in demand for CEI's expert engineering services.
