Lawrence S. Brody has more than 30 years of executive management and systems project engineering experience in the communications industry. He has responsibility for operations of the corporation as well as fulfilling the role of company Technologist while directing the overall formulation of company policy including engineering and technical direction.
In 1996, Mr. Brody was selected as the Greater Washington Area Entrepreneur of the Year in the Communications category by Ernst & Young LLP, The NASDAQ Stock Market and The Washington Post.
Before forming CEI, Mr. Brody was Director of Broadcast Engineering and Technical Operations for COMSAT Satellite Television Corporation (STC).
Prior to joining STC, Mr. Brody held the position of Managing Engineer at the CBS Television Networks Engineering and Development Department in New York City.
John Wesley Nash has more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry having held a wide range of management and technical positions. His CEI responsibilities include corporate planning, project management, new technology investigation and implementation, system design & execution, scheduling, vendor relations, and workforce management.
Before joining CEI, Mr. Nash held the position of Director of Engineering for Groupe André Perry, Ltd. and was responsible for designing and supervising the construction of the Groupe André Perry's Washington, D.C. facility.
David A. Giblin has more than 25 years of experience in broadcast engineering. His CEI responsibilities include corporate management, system design and implementation, project management, and vendor relations.
Before joining CEI, Mr. Giblin held the position of Assistant Director of Engineering for WCAU-TV, the CBS-owned station in Philadelphia, PA. He was responsible for technical operations, system design and implementation, capital budget preparation and administration, and resource planning. With his staff, Mr. Giblin co-designed and supervised the installation of a newsroom automation system, C & Ku uplink and downlinks, microwave repeat systems, camera replacement, ENG vans, a post-production suite, graphics systems, and numerous small projects.
Jim Conley has over 30 years of experience in the broadcast engineering industry. He is responsible for CEI's system solutions incorporating the comprehensive design considerations of broadcast facilities. His efforts include project management tasks and the management of technical personnel in the creation of turnkey broadcast technical solutions.
Before joining CEI, Mr. Conley was Vice President of Engineering at Powerhouse Studios, Inc. in Washington, D.C., where he was involved in all phases of system design, integration, modification and maintenance at a full-service video and audio post-production facility.
