CEI Boosts Service and Support Expertise by Naming Griffin Manager

Newington, VA – Oct. 19, 2006 – Communications Engineering, Inc. (CEI) today announced the company is further enhancing its comprehensive service capabilities by naming industry veteran Buddy Griffin broadcast service engineer and service manager.

Griffin brings more than 30 years of service experience to CEI. He will be responsible for all service activities, including supervision of CEI’s skilled lab technicians. Griffin comes to the company from Professional Products, where he worked for 20 years, most recently as service manager and service engineer.  He has also received extensive training on a wide range of leading broadcast manufacturers’ equipment.

Griffin will report to Frank Giliotti, vice president of technical operations. The two had similar roles for 18 years at their former company. “We’re very fortunate to bring in someone with Buddy’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge, and I’m looking forward to working with him again,” said Giliotti. “Our service and support is already an extremely valuable part of CEI and Buddy will add even more strength to the department.”

CEI’s broad-based services include complete maintenance and repair for complex facilities, new installations and legacy systems. The company offers remote, online and on-site technical support and training, backed by a WEB based help system and toll-free help line where support requests are managed and tracked.
